Space Micro Inc. is a high technology firm with a special focus on space and military applications. Founded in 2002, Space Micro Inc. is a privately held, employee-owned company, with headquarters in San Diego, California.

Space Micro has a broad customer base that includes, in addition to DHS; NASA, DARPA, DTRA, Lockheed Martin, OSD, AFRL and the European Space Agencies. The US Government is their largest customer.

Space Micro collaborates on research at the Jacob's School of Engineering.
